My first day of work
The 11th September was my first day of work at Concern, a charity shop in the Cork's city centre, with Denise.
We waited Marta, one of our tutor, out of Eazy City and when she arrived, at 11, she took us to the shop.
First we met Colette, our manager, who explained us everything we should know about the shop.
Then we went to the back where we had to divide the donations that arrives every Tuesday; from clothes to shoes, from bags to books...
Finally We went to the shop where we learnt how to use the till from Giulio another Italian guy from Padova and we finished at 5.
I've never expected that this work was so addictive and funny, expecially when you are at the till talking with other people or colleagues from different cultures.
