This morning we went with our teachers to the Cork Chamber of Commerce, to take part to a meeting with an employee, called Margareth. Through a powerpoint presentation, she explained us a bit of history of the Chamber, but most of all its targets for the present and future, for example the desire to improve as much as possible all the Cork's area, thank to the National Development Plan. Then she told us the tasks that all the employee have to work on every day: promote works to grow, work for Cork's companies and organise events to build business relationships. At the end there was also space for some questions.
As a whole, it was a very interesting meeting, thanks to the opportunity we had to learn more about the economic world.
